Solar Project Development Manager

Mandated by our client, a fast-growing company active in the renewable energy sector, we are seeking an ambitious Solar Project Development Manager to support the expansion of a rapidly scaling project portfolio across Switzerland and Europe. Your responsibilities with your new employer

• Lead solar PV and BESS projects from early-stage feasibility through commissioning

• Support sales activities with technical and development expertise during project conversion

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, suppliers, utilities, and partners

• Conduct and oversee technical and economic feasibility studies

• Prepare project documentation, offers, and development-related deliverables

• Monitor market and regulatory developments relevant to project development

• Contribute to tools, processes, and methodologies that support a scalable project pipeline

What you offer to your new employer

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• 2–5 years of experience in renewable energy project development or equivalent hands-on experience

• Strong expertise in solar PV; experience with BESS is a strong advantage

• Solid technical and financial understanding of renewable energy projects

• Proven ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders

• A structured, independent working style with a strong sense of ownership

• Fluency in English and German; French and/or Dutch are a plus

• Experience with tools such as PVsyst, CAD, or scripting (e.g. Python) is an advantage
