This international company specialises in fiduciary services, wealth management and services for private clients. As part of its business expansion, the company is currently seeking a Junior Accountant.
Your responsibilities with your new employer
- Handling all aspects of the accounts for trusts and foundations, from data entry through to the preparation of financial statements
- Recording and verifying various accounting and financial transactions
- Analysing and documenting complex transactions, including non-monetary transactions such as loans, advances and intercompany loans, as well as the associated calculations
- Reading and analysing resolutions, contracts and other documents to understand their accounting implications
- Carrying out the necessary checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data
- Preparing the accounts for review by the directors
- Working closely with team members, senior staff and directors
- Using English on a daily basis when processing files and documentation
What you bring to your new employer
- Holder of a CFC (Federal Certificate of Proficiency) in commercial administration, supplemented by initial professional experience in accounting, ideally around two years
- A good understanding of accounting principles and a strong desire to develop your knowledge of trusts and wealth management structures
- C1 level in English, essential for working comfortably in an environment where English is the main working language
- Excellent comprehension skills and adaptability: as every case is different, you enjoy analysing new situations, understanding complex information and adapting to different requirements
